Baseball Recap: Belton Comes Up Short

Belton lost against Harrisonville back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pirates took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Belton's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Harrisonville, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-8.

Looking ahead, Belton is taking a road trip to square off against Mexico at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Harrisonville, they will host Butler at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
