Ferris won the last time they faced Lincoln and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 18-1 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won five matchups by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ferris pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.4 runs over those games. As for Lincoln, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ferris is set to square off against their familiar foe University Academy Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lincoln will challenge rival Snyder at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
