Basketball Recap: Gentry Comes Up Short

Gentry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 63-43 to the Yazoo City Indians, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-43 on Tuesday.

Gentry's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Yazoo City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-10.

Gentry wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 62-35 loss against Holmes County Central on the 24th. Yazoo City has also already played their next game, an 84-47 defeat against Canton on the 24th.
