Basketball Recap: Mingus Marauders vs. Prescott Badgers

After flying high against the Mohave Thunderbirds last Friday, the Mingus Marauders came back down to earth. The match between Mingus and the Badgers wasn't particularly close, with the Marauders falling 70-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Prescott was led to victory by Bella Abt and Addie Prisciandaro. Abt dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds, while Prisciandaro scored 34 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Prisciandaro has scored all season. Rylee Hobson was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with eight assists.
Mingus' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-6. As for Prescott, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-8.
Mingus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Prescott is on the road again on Thursday and plays the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th. Flagstaff is on a 11-game streak of home wins, the Badgers a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
