Loyalsock Township had won eight straight at home, but on Saturday they bumped their record up to 11-6 to make it nine. They came out on top against the Holy Redeemer Royals by a score of 6-2. The win continues a trend for the Lancers in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won three in a row.

As for Holy Redeemer, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-5 record. They were red-hot at the plate heading into the game (they scored no less than ten runs in the four contests prior), but Loyalsock Township's pitcher proved too tough.

For Holy Redeemer's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zoe Pecuch, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Loyalsock Township will square off against Jersey Shore at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Holy Redeemer, they will head out on the road to square off against Williamsport at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Millionaires have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.93 runs per game on average), something the Royals will no doubt try to take advantage of.
