Volleyball Recap: Clearfield Wins Going Away Against Hunter

It's playoff time, and Clearfield had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Hunter Wolverines 3-0 on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won three in a row.

While Clearfield won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 25-15.

Sebastian Rodriguez paced Clearfield's offense, picking up 13 kills. Rodriguez got some help from Max Bohman and his 32 assists. Brenden Toone and Gabe Christensen kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Clearfield's victory bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Hunter, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-18.

Clearfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Viewmont on the 9th. Hunter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
