Basketball Recap: Freeman Skates Past Alcester-Hudson with Ease

Freeman waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Alcester-Hudson Cubs 59-24. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-8.

Freeman was led to victory by Rylee Peters and Cadence Hofer. Peters dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds, while Hofer went 9 for 14 to rack up 19 points. The dominant performance gave Hofer a new career-high in points. Peyton McCune was another key player, putting up 11 points and seven assists.

Freeman was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Freeman's record now sits at 13-3. As for Alcester-Hudson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

Freeman has already played their next contest, a 55-28 victory against Hanson on the 11th. As for Alcester-Hudson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 49-33 loss against Beresford on the 8th.
