Basketball Game Preview: Olathe Pirates vs. Cedaredge Bruins

Olathe hasn't had much luck against Cedaredge recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Olathe Pirates will venture away from home to face off against the Cedaredge Bruins at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Olathe's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.

Olathe is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Gunnison on Saturday. Olathe took a 61-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gunnison.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cedaredge, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 40-38 win over Meeker on Saturday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bruins as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Cedaredge's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Olathe, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Olathe was taken down by Cedaredge 75-48 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Olathe avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
