Baseball Recap: Clayton Comets vs. Faith Christian Patriots

Clayton proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 18) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Faith Christian Patriots 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Comets have posted since March 25th.

Gabe Schellinger looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one hit in ten consecutive appearances.
