North Pole faced Lathrop in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Patriots and the Malemutes finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time North Pole have been dealt a draw since back in April.

Their goal came courtesy of Erik Ochoa, who's now up to four this season.

North Pole's draw gives them a new season record of 1-6-3. Meanwhile, Lathrop's record is now 4-9-1.

North Pole wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Monroe Catholic on the 22nd. Lathrop does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
