Soccer Recap: Charleston Math & Science Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Charleston Math & Science was not quite Palmetto Scholars Academy's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Phoenix by a score of 2-1. Charleston Math & Science were not able to make up for their loss to Palmetto Scholars Academy from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Charleston Math & Science and nudges their season record down to 3-3-1. As for Palmetto Scholars Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charleston Math & Science will take on Baptist Hill on Thursday. As for Palmetto Scholars Academy, they will challenge Beaufort Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
