Volleyball Recap: Kenton Ridge Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home

Kenton Ridge had won eight straight at home, but on Saturday they bumped up to 10-2 to make it nine. They blew past the Arcanum Trojans 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Annie Fincham paced Kenton Ridge's offense, picking up 22 kills. Fincham got some help from Ivee Rastatter and her 31 assists. Olivia Everhart controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

As for Arcanum, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since August 30th.

Arcanum lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cameron Garbig, who had nine digs. Ella Flatter also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Kenton Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Wayne on the 22nd. As for Arcanum, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Covington on the 22nd.
