Basketball Recap: Braxton County Wins Going Away Against Montcalm

On Tuesday, the Braxton County Eagles didn't have too much trouble with the Montcalm Generals as they won 37-18.

Braxton County's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Montcalm, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Braxton County will look to defend their home court on January 7th against Doddridge County at 5:45 p.m. The timing isn't great for Braxton County: they have been struggling with nine straight losses at home dating back to last season, while Doddridge County has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. As for Montcalm, they will square off against River View at 7:00 p.m. on January 7th. River View is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57 points per game this season.
