Basketball Game Preview: Othello Huskies vs. Ephrata Tigers

Othello hasn't had much luck against Ephrata recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Othello Huskies are taking a road trip to challenge the Ephrata Tigers at 7:00 p.m.

Othello is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game dating back to last season last Saturday. They were outmatched by Quincy and fell 79-34. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 311th, while the Jackrabbits are ranked 150th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ephrata). They blew past Omak 67-42 on Saturday.

Othello's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Ephrata, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.

Othello couldn't quite finish off Ephrata in their previous meeting back in January and fell 61-58. Can Othello avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
