Baseball Recap: North Canyon Comes Up Short

North Canyon's last matchup with Paradise Valley could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Monday. The Rattlers lost 13-1 to the Trojans. The Rattlers just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

North Canyon saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Alexander, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

North Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Paradise Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

While North Canyon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
