Basketball Recap: Shakopee Comes Up Short

Shakopee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Rosemount Irish 75-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Sabers have suffered since February 13, 2024.

Shakopee's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Rosemount, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Shakopee will head out on the road to square off against Lakeville South at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rosemount, they will take on Farmington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Rosemount's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
