Basketball Recap: Andrews Takes a Loss

Andrews lost against Seminole back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Andrews Mustangs had to suffer through a 68-24 loss at the hands of the Seminole Indians. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-7.

Andrews has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season. As for Seminole, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Andrews will head out to take on Fort Stockton at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seminole, they will head out on the road to square off against Monahans at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Seminole knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Monahans likes a good challenge.
