Football Game Preview: Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs vs. DeLand Bulldogs

Flagler Palm Coast will face off against DeLand at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Flagler Palm Coast's defense has only allowed 13.9 points per game this season, so DeLand's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Flagler Palm Coast was handed a 22-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Mainland, sneaking past 14-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since March 8, 2024.

Meanwhile, DeLand never let their opponents score on Monday. They came out on top against University by a score of 7-0. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Titans are ranked 259th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Flagler Palm Coast's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for DeLand, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Flagler Palm Coast didn't have too much breathing room in their game against DeLand when the teams last played back in April of 2023, but they still walked away with a 6-0 win.
