Basketball Recap: Littleton Comes Up Short

Littleton played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Denver North Vikings and fell 77-45. The Lions' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Despite the loss, Littleton still got an impressive performance from Sam Lasswell, who posted 25 points and six rebounds.

Littleton's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Denver North, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-6.

Littleton will host Bear Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Denver North, they will head out to take on Hinkley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Denver North knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Hinkley likes a good challenge.
