Basketball Recap: Kam Jackson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lowndes over Cherokee

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lowndes can now relate to. They took a 56-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cherokee Warriors.

Lowndes' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kam Jackson, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards. Jahmarcus Walker was another key player, putting up seven points.

Lowndes' loss dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Cherokee, their win bumped their record up to 18-11.

Lowndes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cherokee, they will face off against East Coweta on Saturday.
