Baseball Recap: Wareham Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Wareham's offense. They came up short against the Bourne Canalmen on Wednesday, falling 13-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Canalmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 back in April.

This is the second loss in a row for Wareham and nudges their season record down to 3-7-1. As for Bourne, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-11.

Looking ahead, Wareham will take on Avon at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bourne, they will head out to square off against Seekonk at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Canalmen's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
