Brookline faced Newton North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Warriors put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Brookline's victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Newton North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-7.

Brookline didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Newton South on the 17th. As for Newton North, they will host Weymouth at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
