Mammoth is 1-8-1 against Rosamond since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Huskies will head out on the road to face off against the Roadrunners at 5:00 p.m. Mammoth has given up an average of 4.2 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Mammoth managed to keep up with Frazier Mountain until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Huskies came up short against the Falcons, falling 5-0. Mammoth fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Frazier Mountain since Tuesday.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rosamond). They were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over Desert on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but Rosamond sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Their offense was hitting Desert from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Denny Becker led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for five goals all by himself.
Rosamond's victory bumped their record up to 7-10-2. As for Mammoth, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6-2.
