Basketball Recap: St. Pius X Finds Home Court Redemption Against Mccluer South-Berkeley

There's no place like home for St. Pius X, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 64-39 margin over the McCluer South-Berkeley Bulldogs on Monday.

Despite the loss, McCluer South-Berkeley still got an impressive performance from Dylan Merkle, who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Lamar Mccoy, who earned four points.

St. Pius X's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for McCluer South-Berkeley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

St. Pius X will take on Waynesville in a holiday battle at at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. McCluer South-Berkeley has already played their next contest, a 52-49 win against Gateway Science Academy on the 20th.
