Soccer Recap: Bloomington Triumphs

The Bloomington Bruins narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Heritage Patriots 2-1. Even though Bloomington got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Justyn Silva was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Alejandro Padilla and Chrysler Castelo scored both of Bloomington's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Bloomington's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Heritage, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Bloomington will challenge Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heritage, they will square off against La Sierra at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
