Preview: Waterford vs. Delhi
Delhi (2-3) and Waterford (2-3) go head to head this Friday at 7:30 PM. Delhi has had difficulty moving the ball in its last four games, so hopefully it can find a way to get more yardage this week.
Delhi received a tough blow as it fell 34 - 17 to Gustine.
As for Waterford, it had a lot of difficulties with Ripon Christian last game and took a hard 28 - 7 hit. Waterford unfortunately couldn't repeat the imposing 42-point effort it came up with in its previous game.
The last time they met, Delhi was the 33 - 0 victor. It was able to move the ball a lot more (358 yards compared to 99 yards), a gap Waterford will be looking to close this time around. The rematch might be a little tougher for Delhi since the team will be on Waterford's home field this time. We'll soon find out whether that makes a difference or not.
