Volleyball Recap: Lycee Francais de Chicago Takes a Loss

Lycee Francais de Chicago was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Christian Heritage Academy Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Christian Heritage Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Lycee Francais de Chicago was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22.

Lycee Francais de Chicago's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Christian Heritage Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.

Lycee Francais de Chicago will square off against Francis W. Parker at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Christian Heritage Academy, they will face off against Beacon Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
