After losing to Westover the last time they met, E.E. Smith decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Golden Bulls had just enough and edged out the Wolverines 3-2 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Bulls.

E.E. Smith was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 14-25, 20-25, 25-14, 15-5.

London Weathers paced E.E. Smith's offense, picking up 16 kills. Weathers got some help from Na'Zariah Inman and her 19 assists. Inman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

E.E. Smith's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Westover, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

E.E. Smith wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against St. Pauls on the 25th. As for Westover, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against South View on the 24th.
