Basketball Game Preview: Laurel Hill Hoboes vs. Paxton Bobcats

Laurel Hill has won five straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Paxton has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The two teams will face off at 5:30 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Laurel Hill is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Northview 74-25 on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Aiyana Dixon continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 25 points. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Savannah Riley was another key player, posting 14 points.

Meanwhile, Paxton humbled Destin with a 68-22 victory.

Paxton's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Laurel Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Laurel Hill lost to Paxton at home by a decisive 57-39 margin in their previous matchup back in January. Can Laurel Hill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
