After a string of four wins, Early College's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 5-2 to the Edison Tech Inventors. The contest marked the Sharks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Early College's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Edison Tech, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Early College will take on Lyons at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Edison Tech, they will challenge School of the Arts at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Silverhawks' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Inventors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
