Coronado has gone a perfect 9-0 against Foothill recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cougars will host the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Coronado will be looking to extend their current 18-game winning streak.

Coronado is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Liberty, who was ranked 13th at the time (Coronado was ranked first). The Cougars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Patriots on Tuesday.

Coronado's got stronger as the match went on, holding Liberty to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Foothill came up short against Arbor View on Thursday and fell 3-1.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Arbor View scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 19-25, 25-17, 25-23.

Foothill's loss dropped their record down to 20-14. As for Coronado, their victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 34-2.

Coronado beat Foothill 3-1 when the teams last played on April 8th. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
