Recap: Fishburne Military Caissons vs. North Cross Raiders
This season hasn't been kind to the Fishburne Military Caissons, who are still winless after their tenth game. They were outmatched by North Cross at home and fell 99-41. Fishburne Military was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-21.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Cross to victory, but perhaps none more so than Antonio Mack, who scored 34 points along with six rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Mack has scored at least 25% of North Cross' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Lange, who scored 23 points along with four steals.
Fishburne Military's loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-10. As for North Cross, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.
Fishburne Military won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Randolph-Macon Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 5th. Randolph-Macon Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Fishburne Military likes a good challenge. North Cross won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Seton at 3:45 p.m. on January 5th. Seton is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
