Basketball Recap: Theodore Takes a Loss

Theodore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jackson Aggies. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Aggies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2016.

Jackson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Keeyun Chapman, who posted eight points and 17 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Chapman a new career-high in boards. Donnivan Bozeman was another key player, putting up eight points and seven rebounds.

Theodore's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Jackson, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Theodore wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 67-60 win against Baker on the 27th. As for Jackson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-39 victory against Pine Forest on the 27th.
