Given the Raptors' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked second, while the Wolverines are ranked 151st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Academic Magnet's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four games. As for A.C. Flora, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
