Baseball Recap: Wayne Memorial Takes a Loss

Wayne Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 17-4 to the Churchill Chargers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Zebras of the 12-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Wayne Memorial's record is now 1-21. As for Churchill, their victory bumped their record up to 16-4-1.

Looking ahead, Churchill will square off against Non Varsity Opponent at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wayne Memorial will be paying especially close attention to the Chargers' matchup: after the Chargers face off against Non Varsity Opponent, they'll take on Wayne Memorial again at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
