Timothy Christian won the last time they faced Parkview Christian Academy and Elisabeth Van Den Berg did her part to make sure it happened again. The Trojans came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 45-33 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Van Den Berg, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 14 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last five games she's played dating back to last season.

Parkview Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rhen Staudacher, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards. Abby Carlyle was another key player, putting up four points along with 12 rebounds and five steals.

Timothy Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Parkview Christian Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Timothy Christian is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Leyden at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Parkview Christian Academy, they will square off against Wheaton Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
