            We've got a battle between Cougars coming up. Steele Canyon is coming into the  match on  a  three-game losing streak.
Steele Canyon's tournament run continued when they took on Mission Hills  on Tuesday. The Cougars fell  6-1 to the Grizzlies.
Steele Canyon got a good showing from  Nick Marcon, who   tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits.
 At the plate,  Tommy Rimoldi was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.  Andrew Bravo also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile,  it may have taken  eight innings to finish the job, but San Ysidro ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past Santa Fe Christian  5-3. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Cougars.
  Jorge Baez was  excellent,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 San Ysidro's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 10-6. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Steele Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
 Steele Canyon beat San Ysidro 5-1  in their previous meeting  back in March. Will Steele Canyon repeat their success,  or does  San Ysidro has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
