Football Recap: Osceola Grace Eagles Skates Past Noblesville L with Ease

Osceola Grace Eagles's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 62-18 victory over the Noblesville L Lions. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Oscee considering their seven-point performance the game before.

Luke Cocanower threw for 247 yards and five touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Hayden Castro was his top target, picking up 157 receiving yards and a pair of scores. On the ground, Weston Frey rushed for 149 yards and three TDs on only 15 carries.

Despite the loss, Noblesville L saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Micah Barton rushed for 92 yards and one TD on only 12 carries, and also picked up 37 receiving yards. Barton really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run.

Osceola Grace Eagles' win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Noblesville L, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Osceola Grace Eagles has already played their next matchup, a 47-12 victory against Illinois C on the 27th. As for Noblesville L, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-0 loss against Columbus Crusaders on the 27th.
