Volleyball Game Preview: Hagerty Huskies vs. Winter Park Wildcats

The Hagerty Huskies will challenge the Winter Park Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hagerty is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Boone. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Hagerty was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11, 23-25, 25-16.

Hagerty's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Isabella Cruz, who had three digs and two aces, and Allyson Leach, who had 16 digs and two assists. Cruz has been hot, having also posted 21 or more assists the last five times she's played.

Timber Creek typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Winter Park proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wolves.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-12, 25-19.

Hagerty's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Winter Park, their win bumped their record up to 25-1.
