Volleyball Recap: Waterloo Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Waterloo challenged Lauderdale County on Saturday. The Cougars fell 2-0 to the Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Waterloo has also been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. As for Lauderdale County, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-14.

Waterloo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Central on the 4th. As for Lauderdale County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Mars Hill Bible on the 4th.
