Football Game Preview: Harrison Goblins vs. Alma Airedales

Harrison is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Friday. After each having a week off, they and the Alma Airedales will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. Neither Harrison nor Alma posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Two weeks ago, Harrison came up short against Searcy and fell 19-7. The Goblins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Alma played a tough matchup two weeks ago in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Hot Springs, falling 49-7. The Airedales were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-7.

Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Alma, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-2.

Harrison couldn't quite get it done against Alma when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 26-14. Can the Goblins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
