Recap: Mountain Home Christian Academy Eagles vs. Lead Hill Tigers
This season hasn't been kind to the Mountain Home Christian Academy Eagles, who are still winless after their 17th contest. They were beaten by Lead Hill 59-16 on Friday. Mountain Home Christian Academy has struggled against Lead Hill recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Among those leading the charge was Nolan Turner, who scored 12 points along with four steals. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Baker, who scored seven points.
Mountain Home Christian Academy's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-17. As for Lead Hill, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-15.
Mountain Home Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northeast Arkansas Christian Home Educators at 2:00 p.m. on December 30th. As for Lead Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Alpena at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
