Baseball Recap: Kearsley Comes Up Short

Linden hit Kearsley with a five-run fourth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hornets came up short against the Eagles, falling 14-4. The Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

Chase Tobias was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Carson Saxton also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Kearsley's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Linden, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11.
