Basketball Recap: Meyer Takes a Loss

Meyer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They came up short against the Valley Mills Eagles, falling 48-24. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ravens this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-39 on January 3rd.

When it comes to explaining why Meyer lost, don't look at Skylar Hicks. Despite the final result, she posted ten points.

Meyer's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Valley Mills, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-17 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meyer has already played their next contest (against Meridian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Valley Mills has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Rio Vista.
