Recap: River Dell Golden Hawks vs. Pascack Hills Broncos
After a string of six wins, the River Dell Golden Hawks's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Pascack Hills by a score of 53-50. River Dell has not had much luck with Pascack Hills recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Several Golden Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aditya Pandya, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sean Golden, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
River Dell's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8. As for Pascack Hills, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. River Dell will take on Mahwah at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully River Dell focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday. As for Pascack Hills, they will be playing at home against Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pascack Hills is coming into the game with four straight wins at home, meaning Westwood will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
