The Licking Heights Hornets walked away with a 55-48 victory over the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Johnnies are ranked 207th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Licking Heights' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game.
