Foothill is a perfect 10-0 against Dougherty Valley since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Falcons will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. Foothill's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Dougherty Valley's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Foothill's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Dublin 13-0. The game was the first time the Falcons have beaten the Gaels on their field since April 28, 2022.

Foothill got a massive performance out of Addison Chandler, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Chandler has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Novitske, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Meanwhile, Dougherty Valley fell victim to California and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Grizzlies, falling 8-0. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Dougherty Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marisa Rhee, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Rhee has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Foothill is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Dougherty Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
