After flying high against Dobson last Saturday, Hamilton came back down to earth. The Hamilton Huskies fell just short of the Sunnyside Blue Devils by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Huskies' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Tyson Morse wasn't going to let Sunnyside walk away unscathed as he scored both of Hamilton's goals, bringing his season total up to five goals.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Sunnyside, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Hamilton will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Gilbert at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025. Sunnyside has already played their next match, a 4-3 loss against Pinnacle on the 30th.
