Booker T. Washington won the last time they faced Tallassee and things went their way on Friday too. The Golden Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 17-14 win over the Tigers. The victory almost wasn't to be: the Golden Eagles were down 14-0 in the second quarter.

Marquez Daniel went supernova, rushing for 105 yards and one TD on only 13 carries.

The win made it two in a row for Booker T. Washington and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 20 points in those games. As for Tallassee, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
