Softball Recap: Eastside Early College Gets the Win

Eastside Early College's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Northeast Early College Raiders a 21-0 shutout. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Arianna Ramirez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance gave her a new career-low in hits. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. In other batting news, Mikaela Montoya was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Evy Leon was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
